International women’s day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and raises awareness of the importance of gender equality in the world, not just the workplace.
60% of Seedlip Co employees are women and we inspire, challenge and support each other every day. Of course, there is so much more to this amazing group of women than being a part of the Seedlip family. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we asked a few of our employees around the globe to tell us what inspires them and what they love to do outside of work.
Emma Wykes
Role: COO of Seedlip & Æcorn
What inspires you? I’m inspired by the people in our global teams and being on the beach in Cornwall with my family.
What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work I like to study psychology, culture and yoga.
This week Emma celebrated three years at the helm of Seedlip & Æcorn.
Olivia Muniak
Role: California Brand Ambassador for Seedlip
What inspires you? Carving time out to go surfing is an endless source for my own creativity. Externally I draw so much inspiration from my mother and father who were pioneers in the restaurant industry. They encourage me to take risks in my own life.
What do you like to do outside of work? I have combined my experience in event production with my passion for cooking and hospitality, by way of a private supper club and full-service event and catering company in Los Angeles called La Cura.
Olivia believes that time spent at the table can cure anything. The literal translation of Olivia’s company La Cura from Italian, is ‘the cure’.
Zajneb Al-Rahma
Role: UK On-Trade Activations & Events
What inspires you? I’m inspired by human behaviour and how powerful we are in making our dreams come true if we work hard at it!
What do you love to do outside of work? Outside of work I love travelling, exploring new cultures, food and finding lovely nature spots. But, if I had to pick just one out of those, trying new foods is one of my biggest hobbies as I believe food helps us put all of our differences and beliefs aside. It brings people together, to connect on a deeper level.
She started in 2016 when the company had just six employees.
Claire Warner
Role: Co-founder Æcorn
What inspires you? I’m inspired by spending time out in nature, plus the incredible creativity of bartenders and chefs all over the world.
What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work I hang with my amazing dog, Mack

Erica Valenti
Role: Brand Engagement Manager, Seedlip APAC
What inspires you? I'm inspired by creative ideas and authentic storytelling, and my daily morning walks on Bondi Beach.
What do you love to do outside of work? I love riding motorcycles with my girl gang The Throttle Dolls. Plus, I like to hike in nature, and dance in fields at music festivals.

Karly Finison
Role: US Digital Content Manager
What inspires you? I’m inspired by the people I work with every single day. It’s so fulfilling to work for an organisation that is consistently challenging. Not only the way our consumers drink, but also the way we as an organisation think.
What do you like to do outside of work? I enjoy exploring the city of Los Angeles to discover what it has to offer – finding new restaurants and bars, going to concerts or simply spending time at the beach.
Living in the wellness capital of the US, Karly makes like an LA local and loves to stay active by trying new yoga and workout classes.
Laura Lashley
Role: US Education Manager
What inspires you? I’m inspired by my amazingly talented friends, good books and travelling to new places.
What do you like to do outside of work? I love to read and go to the theatre.
Laura helps spread the word about the brilliance of non-alcoholic drinks in the US.
